Off the Record helps curious visitors discover Nashville through locally owned businesses, a free scavenger hunt, and date planning that makes choosing easier.
It started with a question from the back seat.
After moving to Nashville and driving for Uber, our founder kept hearing visitors ask where the locals went. At the same time, neighborhood businesses were struggling to get noticed while tourism spending stayed concentrated in the entertainment district.
The first idea was personally curated tours featuring local businesses. Then came Music City Bingo, inspired by conference vendor bingo: a way to give visitors a reason to walk through a local business’s door, without needing a personal tour guide.
On the Town followed a familiar frustration: planning a Nashville date without spending hundreds of dollars. Different starting points, same purpose—help people get out and discover the city.
What we mean by local
We look for businesses owned by people who live in Nashville and take part in its community. People who support neighborhood schools, little leagues, fundraisers, and the places around them.
A locally owned franchise can belong here too. An engaged local owner matters. We focus on public-facing businesses and places that welcome visitors; intimate neighborhood gatherings are not attractions to package.
Choose your way into Nashville
Music City Bingo
A free, self-guided Nashville scavenger hunt. Get a mission card, explore at your own pace, mark what you complete, and work toward Bingo and the leaderboard. Playing is free; purchases and admission at individual stops are separate.
A free Nashville date planner built around your time, budget, neighborhood, and interests. Make your choices and explore the available plans. Check hours, prices, tickets, and reservations with each business before heading out.
Our visitor guides link to sources for practical details such as transportation and venue access. Where a guide shows a source-check date, that is when those details were last reviewed. Hours, prices, and event arrangements can change, so check the linked venue information before travelling.
Player feedback describes an individual experience. Marking a Bingo mission complete is a player-reported completion, not independent proof of a purchase or visit. We do not present those completions as verified reviews.
There is plenty to enjoy on Broadway. If you’re ready for a different pace, we’re here to help you find it.
